    don't listen to the first few. making space can help in some rare cases of an over crowded disk. if it's that bad. i doubt that's the case. you might have a hardware issue. as far as software goes, it could be alot of things you have to much stuff running at once, you have had alot of programs installed and the registry is screwed or even you could be way over do for a defrag. before i went to to much effort to figure it out, i would make sure you are not over heating and have the cpu being throttled. if it gets to hot, before it crashes, it will send signals that are blank to reduce the use of power, thus cooling it and slowing the cpu. that happened to me. it's not anything some canned air and a tube of artic silver (don't get the cheap stuff either) won't fix (in most cases). you can check temps. in most systems by booting into the bios when restarting. if that's not the case, i recommend 2 freeware programs, game booster and system care (system care can be downloaded from game booster). that should point you in the right direction of software issues. it's worth saying, a freshly installed o/s is the best way to go in cases of software issues with the o/s.

try formatting the computer place a higher RAM clean/scan ur computer uninstall any unwanted programs

if u have A LOT of pictures, videos, etc. i recommend putting it on a disk. If u need to go to a computer place and get it cleaned up a bit and it also might be a lot of junk or viruses on your computer
