Why does my Sims 2 game crash in the Family Creator?

Everytime I try and make a sim it crashes. Like, right when I click the OK button to accept the sim it dies on me. I really don't want to lose the game, and I've already tried ...show more

Call the EA games technical support team, and for the future, if you want answers to questions like this, the only way to get a good answer is to include your system specifications in the answer. To get these system specs (support teams will also ask you to do this), go to the start menu, click Run..., then type in "dxdiag", click ok, then the DirectX diagnostics tool will give you all the info you need about your computer.

hmmm.... you might want to contact someone who works at EA games for technical support.. It might be the game, or it might be a computer glitch... it'd be best to find out which of the two is responsible first...

This problem is prevalent in people who have Vista. Try to update your video card drivers by heading to nvidia or ATI's official websites, or just try to run Windows Update. Maybe you also need to update your DirectX.
