How do i use my xbox 360 controller to play on my halo pc game.?

If you have the wired version, just plug it in, and the drivers should load by themselves. If not wired, you can't do it. Then in the options menu in HPC, you go to controller settings and configure the controls.

As far as I know you cannot do that unless you get a specially made hookup which requires a ton of money.
