When buying PC games, what is the difference between 'PC CD' and 'PC DVD'?

I want to buy a series of games but some of the earlier 2000+ ones say 'PC CD' and the newer 2005+ ones say 'PC DVD'. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I ...show more

pc cd will play on most computers.pc dvd rom you would need a dvd-rom drive

Well PC CD plays on CD ROM drives but PC DVD needs a DVD ROM drive to play. Simple as that! ;-)

'PC CD' is 700mb and 'PC DVD' is 4.3GB(equal to 6 CD's) Today PC games are HD, with High graphics requires much space, that's why they are PC DVD! So Get PC DVD games! Hope you understand whatever i am telling You!

Dvd games you must put it in the DVD driver and for the Cd in the cd driver
