Why does my Sims 2 game crash?

the game has soo many glitches. Its just a defect. Get sims 3, YOU ONLY HAVE TO TINSTALL WITH ONE CD!!!

Try re-installing your game, but if the blue screen is coming up i expect its a problem with your hard drive, you might want to get it looked at.

Check the disk for scratches. If there aren't any try getting rid of content. If THAT doesn't work you should probably try re-installing.

I would suggest that you uninstall and reinstall, restart, try it again. If it still has problems then perhaps you need a new video card.

u should clean ur computer, or clean the disc. by cleaning the comp is by deleting things u dont need, trust me this should make ur computer work faster and better .. including games.

Delete all your custom content... sometimes there are bugs in there and it slows down the program. restart the computer after doing this and then load sims If it does the same thing, which hopefully it won't, you're going to have to unistall it and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work... I'd hate to say it but you're screwed. Buy Sims 3, I heard it's pretty good :)
