It sounds like most of the people who have answered this question do not evcen own a wii.... Anyway as im sure you are aware there are 4(!!!!) ports at the top for controllers and 2 for memory cards. Naturally GC controllers work with all GC games and you can check to see whether GC controllers work with wii games on the back of the WII GAME BOX (shadow picture (cant spell sillouette) on top of box) Please note that the GC controller WONT work in the system menu. You have to load the game with the wii remote from the disc channel then you should be able to play as normal. Differences between wireless: Not much, make sure that there is nothing blocking the receiver and everything should work as normal! Good luck

Step 1 Gather up any GameCube controllers that you want to use with your Wii. Step 2 Open up the top of your Wii. If you unhook the latch on the very top of the system there should be a sort of secret compartment that holds four controller ports and two memory card slots. Step 3 Plug your GameCube controller into the ports located in the top of the Wii. If you're plugging in more than one, don't worry about attaching them in any particular order. Step 4 Load any GameCube memory cards that you would like to use into the memory card slots located next to the controller ports on top of the Wii. Step 5 Feed the GameCube game you would like to play into the disc slot on the Wii. Step 6 Enjoy the thrill of using your old GameCube controllers with your new Wii. ......................................... now for wireless, make sure its charged fully and ur wii is outside of anyshelf cause there can be loss of signals. turn on the controller and the sensonr that u pluged in top. should work if its charged fully and can detect the sensor.

dont listen to these noobs. There is a flap on the front that opens up and has i believe two ports for gamecube controllers. Not all wii games are compatible with gamecube controllers, so dont expect it to do everything. I have had battles on smash brothers game where i would use the nunchuck and they would use the gamecube controllers, so it can be done on some games.

The Gamecube controller is only supported in certain games. For example, Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Apart from that it's basically used for Gamecube games. If it's not working (I think that's what you were asking), are you sure that you've got something plugged into the Gamecube port on your Wii? Does it work on your Gamecube? Because usually with wireless Gamecube controllers you have to plug a reciever into the controller port that connects the wireless controller to the console, otherwise I googled it and so far other people have got it working (The Wavebird). Good luck. :)

By throwing it in the garbage.
