    Japan will get the DSi on November 1st, but release dates for other territories will be sometime between mid to late 2009. The reason for the delay in other countries, especially here in the U.S. is because there is still a very high demand for the DS Lite. And, the current DS, (the DS Lite) retails for 16,800 Yen, about $159 U.S. dollars...therfore it is more expensive in Japan than the U.S. The Lite is $129 here. The DSi will go for 18,900 Yen, about $179. So, for those of you jumping to the conclusion that the DSi will be $50 more than the Lite, please better inform yourselves before posting comments.
