I have a PS3, but also considering getting a Wii, should I get lots of PS3 games or buy a Wii?

If ur money budget is a problem, then don't buy the Wii, but if it's not, I guess u could try and get a Wii.

If you've played and really enjoyed those games on your ps3 then wii is way different as it does not have the types of games you have on your ps3. Just stick with your ps3. And I wanted to also tell you some other games for your ps3 that you should get. Unreal Tournament 3 is currently the best ps3 game ever in my opinion. Resistance: Fall of Man is kind of old but it is awesome MotorStorm Need for Speed: ProStreet Conflict: Denied Ops Turok Blacksite: Area 51 Kane & Lynch: Dead Men Warhawk Medal of Honor: Airborne Half-Life 2: Orange Box F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault and Recon

Unless you have to play games like SSBB or mario party 8, stay with the PS3

It sounds to me as though the type of games the Wii is known for are not the types of games your into. However, then again, you may relize a whole new genre of games you never liked before, if you get a Wii. Essentially, as you know.. the high graphic high requirement games like the upcoming Final Fantasys and Assasins Creed don't come out on the Wii... although there are a few promising looking titles like "No More Heros"and there was an "rated Adult" game called Sadness that was supposed to come out.. that looked very promising as well. If your basically looking for more reasons to buy a Wii, other then the virtual console.. then I suppose I can think of a few. First off, I don't know how good the internet browser is on the PS3.. but it's very enjoyable on the Wii, especially browsing one handed using the Wiimote. Youtube and Newgrounds flash videos play very well on the Wii and are easy to fullscreen. The Wii uses the Opera browser which I've heard very good things about. The Wiimote controller itself, while sometimes it can be gimmicky, can also be very fun and natural to play with. Also, besides the Wii's graphical limitations, the Wiimote+Nanchuck control scheme is pretty nice for first person shooters and is easy to acclimate to. Also, if you have friends with the Wii... Wii messaging is sort of neat and you can even "gift" them virtual console games through the Wii if it's like there birthday or something. Games such as smash brothers are pretty fun and in general many Wii titles make for good "party gaming". It is true alot of Wii games are more "colorful" and likely not up your ally, but I'm asure we'll be seeing some more adult titles along the way, that make further creative use of the Wiimote controller. If you like Mario games.. Mario Galaxies was pretty good too... better then Sunshine and more like Mario 64. If what I've mentioned does interest you much though.. perhaps the Wii is not for you. It isn't horribly expensive though (if you can find one).. though figure it'll cost around the same as 4-5 PS3 games. Just as an extra though, if you have multiple rooms in the house to setup both consoles, it might be extra incentive to by both. I've considered keeping my Wii permanently hooked up to the HDTV in my living room, so I always have the Internet Browsing from their.. as well as Wii weather and news. Ultimately though, it sounds like you'll inevidably be buying more games for the PS3 then the Wii.. unless Wii opens up a whole new world for you. But if it doesn't, then the ultimate factor may be exactly how much your into the Virtual Console or "fun" Mariocentric games in general. And if your income is very limited.. you perhaps do want to save up for all the intense games that are likely to come out for the PS3 in the next couple years. And mind you... you said your getting FF13... but there's two of em coming out.. FF13 and Versus13... so that's double the cost ;)
