I personaly would say that without a doubt YES. The ds lite has a much greater sense of style. it is much lighter to cary around in you pocket. Also, once you start using the brighter screen you'll never want to go back to the original screen as it will sim dim in comparison. plus think of it thins way. any major excesories that will be released in the futer won't on the the original ds, they will be on the ds lite. Hope my opinion helped :-)

yup its a good deal i traded up when the lite came out and i like it way better it just looks and feels cooler and graphics look better too i got 49$ for my ds about a year ago but u might get less seeing as how the lite price dropped.

Yes it it is worth it because it is smaller, brighter screen, and the buttons are changed. I traded my old DS for a Lite and it is so worth it! If I were you I would sell it on Ebay!

Well it depends on what you like.If you want a new and slimer version of your DS with the same features then get the Lite.But if that does not make that much of a difference to you then just keep your regular DS.
