Should I buy a used Wii?

How much will a games store buy a used wii for??

  • i want to trade it in, this is what i have 2 remotes 2 numchucks 3 Games,(mario strikers, wii sports and wii play) any ideas on how much it could go for this time of year??

  • Answer:

Why trade??? Have you any idea how many people would buy that off you via EBay or an advert in the local press? You would make a LOT of money selling it directly.

If I was buying one on E-bay I'd be really put off by the £40 delivery charge of yours, when other people selling theirs on Ebay are charging no more than £25.

Theres nothing wrong with it - its your feedback that puts people off. Put in the ad that the buyer can collect if wanted - that helps to show you are genuine. Wish I'd seen yours 2 days ago - my daughter just brought a new one and paid ALOT of money for it xx

It's probably not the feedback holding you back on Ebay. Are you accepting credit cards through PayPal? Did you include a picture of your actual items and write a description covering condition and usage of the used Wii? If you are still having problems you could probably sell it locally, especially closer to Christmas when parents start to get desparate.

do you have a friend who has a better rateing on ebay ask them to list it for you, or advertise it in local paper or on a supermarket ads board

DO NOT SELL IT TO A SHOP this will be a big mistake, if you still have the box put it in the paper, you will get double what its worth easy, when the 1st playstation came out my mum got me one and a couple of people offered her over £1000 then, this is 1996, so imagine what someone will do to get there loved one the only thing santa cant get at the moment

A store won't give you as much as a regular person who really wants to surprise their kid for Xmas. A game store has a set price take it or leave it. Try eBay or your local classifieds/craigslist to sell it. As long as it's in good condition you may be able to get a better price for it.

You should have no trouble selling that my friend... Here, check this storey: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7132935.stm As for an exact price, sorry I can't help you there, but I'd at least expect to make my money back after reading that storey....
