Is anyone excited about the PS3 price drop?

YES i am sooooo happy! now i can FINALLY afford to buy a PS3!!! but unfourtuatly, i won't be able to get one, till either Christmas or next summer (cause school is starting in 2 weeks for me) Sony is doing a GREAT job! keep it up Sony!

well i already have 2 PS3s both being 80GB and 40GB but it is still nice seeing that people who want a PS3 will be able to join the fun that every PS3 has been enjoying for a few years all i have to say is have fun with the new PS3 you will be getting

i am excited cause i don't think i could afford the $400 i know its only $100 less and that forced me to get the xbox360 pro which is not what i want but now i can get a ps3

Well, I'm glad Sony did it to attract new buyers, but I already have a PS3. I was able to enjoy the benefits of the PS3 and its games before guys like you and was well worth the extra $100. If I could do it all over again, I would have spend the $500 on the 80 GB model sitting next to the 40 GB model I bought.
