Would this Orange Coaxial cable work with my PS3?

If i buy an American PS3 and get a british power cable and plug it into the PS3 will it work?

The PS3 supports PAL and NTSC so there won't be a problem. All games consoles run on between 8 and 12 volts through their relevant adaptors so buying a UK power lead will do the trick (that black box in the middle of the lead is a transformer down to the correct voltage). There also won't be a problem with the warranty as The Sony warranty is international.

No it will burn up, American electrical goods are 110 volts and British and European are 220 / 240 so you are going to cook it or even start a fire, and the video encoding is not the same so if you get a transformer it would still be a waste of time
