Whats the difference between the mini PS2 and the big PS2 ?

    Well if you want a real answer Slim PS2:smaller fan,more quiet,no hard drive support,cheap flip top lid,built in proggresive scan Sony DVD player,built in ethernet adapter,built in ir reciever (DVD remote) and external power brick. Original PS2:Bigger fan,a little noisier,Expansion Bay in the back (for Hard Drive),motorized dvd tray,built in standard Sony DVD player,no ethernet adapter built in (requires network adapter),ir reciever sold seperatly and power supply built in.

The Little One Is Faster Than The Big One.

First the big PS2, you have to install the Ethernet. In the Slim one it is already installed. Both are the same but I have noticed when I play certain older games on the slim version they dont load.

Well, my original ps2 didn't have a network adapter. I've also heard that the old ones actually cool better than the slim ones. Graphics, ect should be the same.

The big one has a fan, and you have to get a network adapter seperately. No other difference.
