Fifth: Go into the xbox 360 dashboard and create a profile if you haven't already. Next Press "A" when your on your avatar/profile. You should see "Join xbox live" Select it. Sixth: Once you do that is will ask you for the email you made on windows live. Type it in the and once it validates it as a real email it will ask you for the password. Go ahead type the password and submit it. Seventh: Once the info goes through your going to need to submit the same birth date you entered when making the profile. then go to "next" Nineth: It will ask you if you want to pay for xbox live and hit "no". Then if you are eligiable it will offer a whole free month of xbox live. So go ahead and select that. Lastly, it will need to chose your online name/gamertag. Alot of names aare taken, but also be sure on the name you want it cost 800ms pts/$10 to change it.

No, You cant. If you Save up your free 48 Hour Trials, But a New 360 only comes with a Free one month trial. But that's when you make a new account. If you just keep making new accounts you'll never have to pay, but you wont build up gamerscore and you will have to re add all of your friends.

well there is a way to get free xbox live and you don't have to buy a whole bunch of x-box's. although it does take a little time. you just have to make a new gamer tag. every time you make a new gamer tag you get either 2 days or 2 months (i forget) of xbox live free. so you make a new tag and use the free online. then when the live expires you just make a new gamer tag. the only down side is that 1. you really cant build up a friends list. and 2. when you make a new gamer tag i think you loose any achievements you might have gotten (like when you level up in call of duty and get new guns).

once you set up your xbox live account you get a month free trial of the gold membership after that expires you account is silver which is free. its not for a year only a month of gold. just hook up your system to a computer and you can create an account on your xbox. really easy to do
