What's the difference between the Xbox 360 Arcade and the Xbox 360 Pro 60GB?
-
I'm thinking about buying a 360 and don't know which one to get... Arcade is $100 cheaper... What do they come with and what is the difference?

Answer:
Besides the games that come with each package, the key difference is the Pro comes with a harddrvie which is necessary to play on xbox live. You can purchase a hard drive seperate from the Arcade package however, and then be able to play xbox live.

The difference is the Hard Drive the Arcade doesn't come with a hard drive it comes with a memory card and wired control, and the pro comes with the hard drive and wireless control. If you want to buy the Arcade because its $100 cheaper go for it but if you want to store a lot of things on it you should invest in the hard drive or just get the pro. OR you can look for a "refurbished" hard drive or used one on ebay or if you can find some at a game store (they usually charge the same thing you're better off looking on ebay) As far as the looks the Arcade is ALL white it doesn't have the silver disk drive like the pro does. Other than that they are the same.

you have to plug in memory cards, and the 360 pro has, well, 60 gb of memory. p.s. The xbox 360 ELITE has a better processing system(i think) and has 120? gb of memory, go for that 1, its worth it.

xbox arcade requires memory cards (256mb) while xbox pro has an inbuilt hardrive which essential in todays gaming.

pretty much the same thing just the 60g has ALOT more memory. being that after u run out of data u have to erase, the 60g is better in my opinion.
