How to fix the three red lights on Xbox 360?

My xbox 360 has three flashing red lights wat can i do to fix it???

    Oops.. you got the Xbox 360 Red Rings of Death issue.. you have 2 options- 1. Send it to Microsoft and they will take 6 to 8 weeks to give you a refurbish set! 2. Repair it with the Xbox 360 Red Rings of Death guide. You can get your Xbox back alive within an hour!! This is tested with lot of my friends including me... till now, my xbox don't give me the problem anymore... better than Microsoft warranty.... heehee

Another one bites the dust. man ur gonna need to send it in to Microsoft for repairs. Call 1-800-4my-xbox they will tell u what to do, it happened to me, all they did was switch the systems. and the inside wire blows

All 360's have a 3 year warranty covering the 3 red lights. It will be repaired for free by Microsoft. Call them at 18004MYXBOX to get the repair process started. You have what is known as the 'red ring of death.'

I think you can trade it in under the warranty for a new one because there was a recall on those not too long ago. But, I don't own an XBOX 360, so i'm unsure.

That happens a lot. theres some youtube vids on how to fix it but u shouldnt try. my friend did and he ****** it up even worse. Just call the number the other answers said and you will get a new one

In all seriousness, check with 1-800-4-my-xbox and give them your serial number to see if your warranty is still valid, as this is a common problem they extended everyones warranty to three years automatically. So unless you bought it when they first came out like I did then you should be in good shape. If not then I can give you a tutorial on how to take the XBOX 360 apart and repair it like I had to do to mine, but you should also keep in mind that once you open the 360 no matter how much you offer Microsoft they will not repair it and will charge you just for looking at it, so good luck and let me know. PS for a quick fix, you can literally wrap it in three towells turn it on for 10-15 minute(until you can feel it hot through the towell) then unwrap it and let it cool to the touch and I GURANTEE it will work, for a week, dont ask me why but it only fixes it for anywhere from 1-7 days. Im not responsible for anything you do that harms you or damages you XBOX 360 as a result of my post. I suggest you pay to have it repaired properly
