you can get 48 hour trials in some games, but that would mean you spending like £40 on a game where you could buy 12 months for that. you can go in a game shop and pay cash for a subscription you dont necessarily have to do it on a credit card. but as mentioned before, you cant get anything completely free in this world!

I've been looking for the same thing, and i've come to the conclusion that there are no xbox live codes for free, the best thing to do is shell out $20 for 3 months if you can't afford the $50
