Whats the easiest way to connect to xbox live?

What is the best way for me to connect to Xbox Live?

  • I have a Sky wireless connection, and the router in in the kitchen and my laptop in the room. Can I connect to Xbox Live by running a cable between the Xbox 360 and the laptop?

    With a CAT5 cable from your Xbox to the Router. To your laptop wont work. It needs to be to the router or the cable modem directly.

I don't even know if you can use wireless internet with Xbox live...I might be wrong but I thought I saw them saying something like that on their website.

you could but i dont think it would help...you should run a wire from the back of the router to the x-box recever end in the back of the xbox. or you could be rich and fancy and buy a 100 doller wirless ( i got one really simple and nice to have) all you do is hook it up and type in your wep key thingy from the card your router gave you. and you got live !

you can but.................... its not a good idea to do that u have to set up internet sharing and honestly, ur going to lag like no other. best is a eithernet cable (cat 5) and go right into ur router.

wire adapter works best for me.... but thats only cuz my signal is strong it depend on ur signal
