Why do they call it the Xbox 360?

The Xbox 360 is a very cool name in my opinion. If you watch the power button in front of the Xbox 360, it's a circle and that must be the origin of the name. Microsoft didn't name the console Xbox 2 because it would sound inferior when compared with Playstation 3.

Because if you tilt your head, close one eye and squint the other, it kinda looks like a blurry ball which is 360 degrees :p and ummm... if you turn 360 degrees then you will be facing the same direction xD
