Which console is the best PS3 or Xbox or Xbox 360 or Xbox 360 elite?

i have an xbox 160 pro ..its really fun but ..you have to pay for live ..on playstaitoin3 its free and you can go on youtube facebook ..alot more things then the xbox ..but the xbox has a much better online experiance ...playstation uses trophies and xbox uses achevments witch make you want to play more games to get a better gamerscore ...also xbox games are much cheaper and all the accaceris ..are sepret ..you have buy live ....wireless....hard drive(only for ardade version) but the playsttion has all that built in plus bluray plaer and much better graphics ..but does overheat and some people say it melts the games ...so im gunna say .....xbox360 elite is better then playstaiton ..its worth the money ...xbox ..has facebook and zune...watch tv on it get freinds downlaod full games and graphics are pretty good i would get the elete ..also it comes with a black controller and black console and a 120 gig hard drive ..thats ALOT ..get a xbox 360 elite!!!!!

According to an article I read not too long ago by programmers (and other assorted techies) They say that RIGHT NOW the Xbox 360 elite is ahead. Thats all I know.

I have both and i see no difference between graphics, loading rates, online play or any of that crap. my ps3 has failed twice in 2 years, my 360 once in 4 years, so the failure rate doesn't apply here... because i actually take care of my product. The only thing i care about is the variety of games... Halo, l4d, dead rising,gears of war, all brilliant games, and only on the xbox... Unchartered, metal gear solid, killzone, resistance, gran turismo... All exclusive to PS3 and all awsome... i dont get why people moan about xbox live being expensive... £40 a year is nothing.. i would happily pay 3x that to go online on my games, and would pay it for my PS3 as well. But dont even get my started on the wii... it sucks balls... very big balls...

Depends what games you want to play. Take a look at the games for each console and decide which ones you prefer. Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 elite are the same thing, just elite is black with a larger hard drive.

It would depend on what your individual gaming needs are. I have both a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Elite and I'd personally say, that the PlayStation 3 is better overall. However, I would say that the Xbox 360 is far more enjoyable in its online features. If by "Xbox" you mean the original Xbox console well, then that can't even compare to modern technology. The PlayStation 3 is a lot more reliable and I have never experience any problems with it. With my Xbox 360 Elite on the other hand, I have already encountered the RROD four times in just over a year. The graphics are better on the PlayStation 3 plus online gaming is free. I prefer the PS3 controllers to the 360 ones just even in terms of comfort.

the elite is the best its got so much storage great graphics and everything else!! including xbox live!

it's a matter of opinion guy. cuz i love my 360, but i'm sure people buy ps3 for a reason. but being a microsoft fanboy i'm gonna have to say xbox cuz the bluray isnt that big of a deal anymore that you can buy/rent movies in hd from zune/netflix. the games are mostly the same a fps is a fps (thats the way i look at it) but i did love halo (too many halofags) and sure do own gears 2. and the games really look a whole lot alike cuz i was watchin this comparison vid on gametrailers.com and they honestly look almost identical.

I personally like PS3 better because it plays nearly every media file ex. .avi, .mkv, .vob. hard drive is replaceable, free online play. Blueray player. but xbox 360 is still a powerful machine and most argue it has a better game selection. depends what your primary use would be.

The Nintendo Entertainment System! Joking aside none is "the best[tm]" that is all advertisment talk. We talk here about markets and to decide what console you want to buy you need to look at the games. The choice is PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 [elite is one with a big HDD] or even PC. Look at the games on that platform and if you like those games the most you found your platform. For the rest it is all fanboys, hot air, and uneducated guesses.
