What's better the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3?

Xbox 360, PS3 is more expensive less reliable and lots of peoples details were hacked. You may have to pay for the online xbox live service but it is very reliable.

I bought this originally to play exclusively movies. I have recently acquired a few games and love the graphics (even though xbox is superior in this area) of the games. The quietness of the machine and the slim design are great too. The only thing I am unimpressed about is the slow startup process.

i dont get it do you ******* want to start a war and wtf are you talking about what about rrod. please no fanboys attack me lol i am just saying xbox 360 breaks alot more then a ps3. take for example try moving your xbox while it has a disc running. huge scratch

I have had both for a long time. I prefer my Ps3... it's for more chill, mature people. The 360 usually attracts the little, annoying kids. All I hear online for 360 is mostly little kids, while that's rare on Ps3. I prefer the Ps3 exclusives, controllers, and it's capabilities rather than the 360. Online is the same for Ps3 and 360, except 360 has in-game chat, but I don't care about that... it's stupid how you have to pay for 360.

Xbox U need so much stuff to but with but its more fun than the ps3 but the xbox live needs money :'( xbox more FUN Ps3 Technolagy , free , u dont have to pay alot of money :) ... ps3 MORE TECHNO :P

The general rule is that xbox is better for cross-platform games; since more people have the 360, developers tend to make the game primarily for that, and then port it to PS3 after-the-fact. This is why cross platform games like Crysis 2 and Dirt 3 usually play better on the 360. But when it comes to exclusives, PS3 is better by most standards (Uncharted, Killzone, Resistance, Little Big Planet, God of War vs. Halo and Gears).

I like the Playstation 3 because of the type of games that are offered. Xbox caters mostly to war games where as the PS3 has more Plat formers and RPGs.... I have one of the original PS3's that are backwards compatible and I haven't had any issues up to this point. =) Hope this helps! JP

its true, xbox 360 is a bit more tough than a ps3... ps3s are sensitive to the electricity coming out of the wall socket, so if it surges a little, it can damage the game console.

Not a great selection. Not much exclusive content on multiplatform games. Bigger, clunkier controller The damn power brick Not very reliable (60% failure rate)
