Wired controllers are easy enough. Just plug it into a spare usb port. Vista should install the correct drivers automatically. You could also download the correct driver from the Microsoft website, http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/DownloadResult.aspx?category=Gaming&type=Controller&name=pk_xbox_cont&os=WVista_32&lang=en This is a link to the vista 32 bit version. one you download that click on it to install the driver and the controller will work! You will need to change the control method in the games themselves to the controller, normally under the options menu. It's incredibly easy! Hope this helps.

o wow all you have to do is plug it in the usb opening or if you don't have that then at the cp back it will have this part at the end to plug it in. good luck. but if wah i sed dont make sense den go on youtube because it always got answers for everyone there

goto google, search for something like "download xbox 360 controller driver" or "download xbox 360 controller plugin" download one, run it, plug in the controller and see if it works

Ensure that the cpu has a port for the controller. Download drivers for the controller.

Well firstly you would need to buy another yellow cord (like the one which connects the internet Monitor thing to the computer.) Connect it to the right side of the controller and then take out the plug which the computer connects to the internet and plug the cord connected to the controller in. You will NOT have access to the internet on the computer this way, only the Xbox 360. If this does not work, then try using the cord that came with the controller to into one of the USB holes in the computer. Hope this helps. :-]
