How to get 3 red rings on xbox 360?

How do you get rid of the 3 red rings on my Xbox 360. Should I get a Ps3 instead?

  • I've had my Xbox for 2 years. I know I should send it in. But it will probably break again. My friends Xbox broke 4 times. Would a Ps3 be better to get?

  • Answer:

    get a wii

try wrapping in a towel. it actually works for some people. but DO NOT get a ps3.

I know how you feel! When mine broke first time I wondered whether I should get a PS3. I stuck with the 360 for one reason: xbox live. Theres no way you can get the same experience on the PS3. If you're offline and don't plan to get live anytime soon, then maybe the PS3 is the way to go. Although Gears 2 is out november, maybe wait til after then :P

I have a 360 elite for a year now, and never had a problem with it. I love all games so I will get a PS3 and a Wii as well.

Regardless if your want a PS3 or not, send the 360 to get fixed. You paid for it. Let Microsoft repair it. Then either use it or sell it. Don't loose your investment.

yes, a ps3 will never, well as what i have heard, has never been returned for malfunction of the console, a PS3 , as far as i have heard, has never been bad. I own a XBOX 360, had to change it like 5 times and i have had the PS3 since it got out, and it still workd flawlesly

yea get a ps3, i am rather bias when it comes to the playstation, but they are extremely reliable consoles that offer great games. :) plus Xboxes are rubbish and Wii's are kk if ur 5 but not an adult orientated console.

(Bugsy!)

try rapping it in a towel for 15 mins and turning it on, but you mite have to take it to be fixed, but yeah get a ps3 or wii

when it first came out, i had to send it in 2 times. then they found out it was my hard drive. Go on youtube and there are some videos on "putting a towel on it, so it overheats itself, and it works again," but i think this ruins the warrenty. Good Luck
