How profitable Emu/Rabbit farming would be in Pune?

No one wants more rabbits, they are a pest in farming land all over australia. Emus? What on earth would someone want to purchase an emu for? You should go out, buy some sheep, cows and llamas! That'll make a real profit.

i live in pune and i come from persia ,i know about emu ,it is good or better i say excellent but after 2 years and i think you have not any experiment about emu or even bird we have lot of disease in birds field it is better you investigate more about your ability and consider and your money but rabbits is good not more than emu i think so but i have suggest work on herbal plants if u can do it ,in india it is best .ayurved!

I know Pune, I was living very near to Pune, Now I am in Israel. Any ways. Initial investment in Emu project will be too high. Birds themselves will cost too much to bear. In case you do go for this project, first think of sale cost, meat or live birds. Will you get back what you paid? Moreover our people (I mean our side people) do not have any experience of the bird. What will you do in case of Avian epidemics in the area? So, it is not advisable. Don't fall for those talk confidently about the project. So, good one will be rabbit farming. And dear Amit, if you are looking out for easy, remote controlled project, forget about it. Any animal husbandry requires 25 hour attention [of the owner] out of 24 hour of the day! Will you manage it? Another thing, your land is too small for animal husbandry. Better build a bungalow or two and rent them for holiday makers.

i have only bred emus so i wouldnt know how they compare to rabbits, sorry
