What is the best agriculture based business?

Hi all, I’m from AP, now I’m planning to start agriculture, I selected jam oil trees to start in this filed first.. please let me know do you have any alternative for this..

mainly that depends on the area from which you are.Andhra is a potential area of Cotton, Chilly ,Rice etc..You can start a business of selling this products in to other states like Kerala where agricultural products are short.

Just like Kadappa stones in your place, AP has good Agrobased ventures too. Extension Training center, KVK,Andra Agri University etc guide farmers for new enterprises. Starting a new rice mill (Rs.100 crores), is good. In east godavari There are lot of ventures like Jatropha diesal, processing of mango, Banana etc are there. We cant say that a particular Agro industry is specifically profitable. Now a days almost any Agri venture is profitable, provided you get right advice, right market and right place to start.

bud the best farm to get is a dairy farm!! honestly it is the best decsion u will ever make!! dairy farming takes hard work and commitment but it is all worth it in the end. Everyone appreciates a dairy farmer!! and the price of milk is sure to keep you in business while prok beef and crops can be iffy and up and down

it depends on which field you prefer(horticulture,floriculture,poultry... swine, or Ag.business). I promote you should do chick sexing. Which can get you over 15 dollars an hour.

You should grow Cash crop which is most populer in Andhra Pradesh and sell in open Market. You also go for Medicinal and Spices Crops. If you have sufficient money to spend for Agriculture based business you can take dealership of Insecticide/Pesticide/Fertiliser/bio-fer... etc and also open a warehouse/cold storage which is profatable.
