How do I create a new Wikipedia page?

How can I create a page on wikipedia just about me?

  To create a page in Wikipedia, all you have to do is search the name of the page you want to create in the search box. Make sure what you want to capitalize is capitalized when you search it (Example: "chuck norris" should be "Chuck Norris".). If the article does not already exist, it will allow you to create it. However, creating an article about yourself may not be the best idea. If you don't already have a Wikipedia page, chances are, you are not "notable" enough to have one. Don't take me wrong, like everyone else, are a very special person, but probably not notable enough for your own Wikipedia article. A Wikipedia article needs to be a source of information for people. Will someone be looking you up for their homework? Are people interested in learning about you? Not only that, but there needs to be reliable, third-party sources about you that you need to cite in every article (news stories, biographies, books, etc.) If these do not apply to you, then you probably shouldn't create a Wikipedia page for yourself. Of course, you can, but chances are it will get deleted. In this case, it would be a biography. Biographies in Wikipedia are taken seriously and have strict standards. One of these is to strongly discourage writing your own autobiography. When you write an article about yourself, chances are, you create a conflict of interest. This basically means that the article you write turns out to be partly biased, only showing the good side of you, and overall, it doesn't appeal to as high of a quality of an article as opposed to someone else writing it for you. This conflict of interest happens automatically; you don't notice it when you are writing about yourself. If you simply go on, create a userpage that is 100% about yourself, and don't ever edit Wikipedia again, there is the chance that it will be deleted, as it is only being used for self-promotion.
