How do I create a page on wikipedia that is already taken?
-
I am trying to create a page on wikipedia but something of the same name is already taken. I know it is a disambiguation and I would like to make it so.

Answer:
You can just add information to the page already. That means you can delete whatever's on it, also.

Rules and guidelines can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disambiguation_page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_%28disambiguation_pages%29 Some of it seems contradictory or outdated, I wanted to create a disambiguation page once, but it was such a convoluted process that I just gave up and put the info on a page whose name was worded differently and had the pages link to each other in case anyone got the wrong one.
