Is there anything wrong with reading about Ouija board on wikipedia ?

    Beware, dad. The Ouija board is an instrument of Satan, and its use can lead to all sorts of bad stuff like thinking about girls, touching men's bottoms, smoking the weeds and (of course) the masturbation. Like you, I'm a guy who "respect every thing and don't make fun of anything". I'm liberal and civilized and wouldn't hurt a fly. But people who mess with those things should be beaten with sticks till they bleed out of their arses, the scumbags. All they're doing is "inviting in" the powers of darkness which just makes things harder for the rest of us. And yes - it's just as bad reading the Wikipedia article, dads. I strongly suggest you get yourself and your PC down to the nearest priest or whatever for a good exorcism. Now.

There's nothing wrong with reading about it. it's okay to be curious, but ouija boards are silly and don't work. If you tried it you wouldn't attract any spirit evil or not. Stores sell them because curious or gullible people will buy them.

They sell it in stores because it is a parlor game, there are no "bad:" spirits that come from playing with one. The pointer moves because the people touching it move it. As far as getting crazy, it's just in their own head that they allow themselves to believe something that just isn't true. A great man once said There's a sucker born every minute. Now if you are ignorant enough to believe such nonsense, then yeah you might go crazy, then again there are people who believe in crazier things. But the dang thing was manufactured by Milton Bradly, a game company, it is a parlor game for scaring little girls.

The Ouija board is what you believe it is. Most people just experience it as a fun game, and think that reading about it means they're just learning something. Of course, you are free to believe otherwise. But doing so will only make your life more complicated and unhappy - the only torment you risk will be due to you worrying yourself needlessly.
