    You need to be loged in(well you can edit without an account but you cant edit some pages and you wont be credited for it) and then go to the page you want to edit and hit edit this page on the top. First you should prieview the page before publishing/saving.

you dont need an account for some subjects though..but if you edit spam on wikipedia it will be deleted in couple of minutes;)
