How was your time on the Carnival Fascination?

What is the fascination with Farmville? I see it as pointless and a HUGE waste of time?

    It is pointless, but totally addictive, and I think my boss might be a bit pissed if I wandered off every lunchtime to tend a real life farm (that I'd have somehow managed to buy on my crappy wage). it's escapism - you know your life sucks when the only thing you have to look forward to is your virtual crops maturing. Loads of people are in this boat though, stuck in jobs they hate (or no job at all), doing what they can to pass the time. We can't leave these jobs as there's nothing else out there.

No doubt, fascination with farmville seems to be pointless and wastage of time on a molecular level, but its also keeps you busy and also help to be patient and punctual, as time is to be taken care to save the crops.

These people who play these sorts of games - where there doesn't even appear to be any skill required - need to get their own life, rather than these imaginary adventures. I'd rather go to sleep and dream to be honest, if I had so little else to do. Obviously, I've blocked it too...

I agree completely! In fact, all the requests for Farmville crap irritates me so much, I blocked all requests completely - blocked the entire application.
