Facebook doing something odd, anyone else having this issue?

Can't say I have experienced that recently... But it sounds like a display/draw issue. When Facebook or Facebook Apps open a pop-up box, it will dim the background. (Basically, it creates a semi-transparent layer over the page.) The pop-up box should be in this layer ("floating" above the page). However, for some reason, the pop-up box is not displayed/drawn on this layer. Refreshing the page (F5) should help. Although, that might re-submit any actions taken prior to the pop-up box being called.

A few of my Facebook friends are currently experiencing this issue so I'm certain it's a problem with the servers on Facebook.

Same here. So I started google searching for answers and read your post. It sounds like maybe a lot of people are having the same problem so I hope its only temporary.

Yeah, same problem here. Complain to Facebook I guess, I don't know....I'm waiting it out, hoping they'll fix the problem tomorrow.

Yeah....it is a system wide issue on facebook right now. It is affecting all games and apps, too.

I noticed this as well. It's not you. I noticed it about five minutes when I was playing Egg buddies. It just refreshes the same page and it's dimmed out like you said.
