If you're using the 4.whatever version then... Try uninstalling it, then download the installer and before you install it, right click it and change it to Vista Service Pack 1, then install it and let it run then it should work, that's what I did If you're using something older, like 8.5 try changing the service pack to Windows XP Good luck! I know how you feel, I was using essentials all day and I was ready to destroy it

Time and progress marches on. I don't have that junk, but it may be that the windows live messenger no longer accepts the old MSN version.
