What do you think about the winter olympics?

Man to each his own..... what do you want to hear?? winter olympics is just a spin off of the summer games? if you don't like it... just don't watch it.

I actually prefer the winter olympics.

Opposite- Yes, I like the summer games too, but also the winter games. There are different sports and just because you don't like them doesn't mean they are substandard (you're trying to say they are not even the olympics.)

Perhaps it depends on where you live and what sports you enjoy yourself. I live in BC. No doubt that the northern countries that get a lot of snow have an advantage in the Winter Olympics; some of these people start as toddlers and skate or ski every day. But look at the challenges the Jamaican Bob Sled Team had to overcome in the 1888 Calgary Olympics. Canadians fell in love with them just for making it all the way here! I think some of the Winter Olympics sports are more challenging and exciting than the summer ones. After all nearly everyone can run and swim and throw stuff, but how many of us can hurtle feet first down an icy track at 140 km/h, or grab major air with spectacular moves like the Olympic skiers and snowboarders? I enjoy both Winter and Summer Olympics. My family snowboard and ski in winter and sail and surf in summer.

I love the olympics. Skiing is kick @$$!!!
