You need to download and install a small live messenger extension called live plus. I've included the link below. When you run the installer, there will be an option to allow or block the sponsor program. select the option "No, I don't want to give my support..." and continue. Otherwise you'll get popups. It allows you to do many additional things in live messenger as well as show ehat you're listening to. Get it, install it, play with it and discover all the new stuff it has to offer. i use itunes with msn to show what im playing, dont think it matters what version either. all i did was in the satus box on live messanger to show what ium listening to and it worked. media player sucks anyway lol hope this helps
