Hi man you are probably as pissed with the new messenger as I was and it had gotten me into a craphole the last time I tried the beta and took me over 4 frustrating hours to get back to 8.1. I think I had to do a system restore because you cannot uninstall messenger nor can revert to an older version. Hopefully the tips by the above user can work out easier than what I had to go thru.

I think that to be able to delete the MSN Messenger 2009 in the "Program Files" folder, you should set yourself as the administrator of your computers' user account that you are using.

u should check ur files and see if it has been properly download...if not re download it and reboot ur computer
