Is there some way on msn that i can make my own "away" sign?

Is there a way that I can always appear off line on MSN when I sign in?

I know I can sign in and change my status to appear of line but people will then know I signed in and then changed it as when I sign in it alerts my contacts. If I block everyone then ...show more

yes if you have windows live messenger you can change it when you sign in i do that but if you have an older version you can go and change it by going into settings and changing it sorry i cant go into more detail but i have the new msn sorry

download the new windows live messenger you have the option right above the sign in name to appear offline when you sign in, i use it all the time

For Yahoo Messenger you can just change the prefs to always appear offline. Can't you just do that for MSN or does it not have another feature that yahoo already has? 10 points please :)
