    block them. if he/she messages you again, at the top right hand corner there should be a little link with two arrows on it. when you hover over it, it says "show more commands" click on it, and there should be an option that says "block". this way, they will not be able to contact you at all.

Block them, then delete. If you just delete them, they'll still be in your allow list (Tools > Options > Privacy) and will be able to talk to you. So, to move them to your block list so they can't talk to you, click the block button. Then you're safe to remove them from your contacts list if you wish.
