How to use a microphone with MSN messenger...?

  • Is there a way to use a webcam and microphone while chatting through MSN messenger WHEN the other person doesn't have a camera or a microphone or both??

    Yes. There should be a little webcam button below your icon, you can click that to show just your webcam. If you want to voice chat, you can hold down the voice recorder button thingy. You can also make a call/video call, if they don't have a webcam/mic it just won't show up. But they can still hear/see you.

yes the person can hear and see you even if they dont have one. it's just a little awkward. but it's nice if its the only way to see a significant other

the other person can still view your cam and hear you, click on view my cam when chatting
