Ok I had this problem for a long time what I did was shutdown the computer for like a while so it cools down and then if it does still do it I either restart it or shut it down again for a bit longer. I know how frustrated you are because it happened to me :), but now ive installed msn plus it gets rid f all that stuff http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/

msn has probably gone down again, it has been a bit on and off lately. give it an hour and try again.
