How do you fix this connection problem on MSN?

I need help on msn and myspace PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!! 10 points who helps me fix this problem!!!!!!!?

The easiest way to do that is to go to the Windows Live Messenger IM and sign into it with your account info. The go to the top above the contact list on the right hand side and click on the Menu button. Then go down too the Tools button and a pop up window will appear go to Options and click on it. When the pop up windows appears go to the left hand side and click on Alerts and Sounds and click it. Then be sure to check the box for Alerts for receieved Messages.

Now days MSN and hotmail makes too much of problem, better solution try to use other emails and other service providers, like yahoo or gmail
