My live messenger doesn't open?

Windows live msn messenger doesnt want to open.... it worked before but now it doesn't everr opennn...help pls?

    Is it an error? I had an error and after about 2 months, it started working again. If not, then maybe try changing your password? If that still doesn't work, there is an alternative. I know it's not as good as Messenger itself but on your Hotmail page, at the top next to Options, it says Messenger, you click it and press sign in to web messenger. It's not as good as proper Messenger, but it's better than nothing. x

just use a web messenger (the official one so no one gets ur password and stuff) and then just wait it should work eventually it's wat i done. or try installing it then using "windows install clean up" you can get it from the microsoft site then just do all that the look for anything to do with messenger, then download a older version of msn and install that. hope i helped.

Hmmm, Well im not sure if this is the same thing but one time somthing similar happened to me. On windows live messenger PLUS (is this your version?) You can lock your msn so that people cannot see you are on it and you cannot re-open msn until you have unlocked it. Lock (hides all your windows) - Ctrl+Space Unlock (re-opens it) - Click on a icon on the botton right of your screen that isnt usualy there but looks like it might have been. It's supposed to be of a CPU but it kinds just looks like a CD drive above a pipe :P If thats was your problem, i hope i helped

Check your ID and password. If everything's fine with that so there is high probability that someone hacked your account. In any case click the link says 'Forgot your password?' and try restoring it.
