Windows Live Messenger Upgrade?

Is there a way to get msn messenger 7.5 working i don't want windows live messenger it says i need to upgrade?

    What do you mean "working" ? If you mean it's not working as in, disconnecting it self and stuff, then remove it from your computer and download it again. If you do not want to upgrade, you do not have to upgrade, and it can not force you to. If the thing that is telling you to upgrade is bugging you, you'll have to forget it's there because you can't get rid of it. If the thing that's telling you to upgrade is stuffing up your MSN, then you will need to either, install MSN messenger 7.5 again or if problems consist, you will have to upgrade or not use MSN. It's up to you what you do but I think you need to add a little more deltail next time. Hope I helped.

do you mean you already have messenger 7.5 and its no longer working? or you don't have a messenger and all you can find is windows live? well you can download 7.5 here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Chat/Instant-Messaging/MSN-Messenger-7.shtml but live messenger i just the same , even better in my opinion, than windows messenger, its just a new name. you can download it here:http://get.live.com/messenger (older but live) http://get.live.com/ (newer) iether way. its the same messenger and still has all your contacts but the newer versions have more features ETC.

you can probably go to olderversions.com to get it, but, I find wlm to be a great program, with a few more features to make the program een better.
