How to change secret question on msn?

Is it against the law to answer a friend's security question,and change their MSN pass,and then give it back?

  Actually it is hacking. In cyber law hacking is not just what you saw on tv, you know .. a nerdy guy sitting in front of a computer running billions of codes. Although you used the password reset feature you are aware you are gaining access into an account without the rightful owner's permission. Some professional hackers do this, befriend the victim and blah blah ... its call social engineering. I am not familiar with UK law but i doubt the police will have you arrested unless you are hacking into mc cain's msn or you stole some trade secrets from your friend haha. Her mom might be just trying to scare you. Don't do it again, or at least if you do it, don't get caught. Have fun. ;)
