Does hotmail have a different view besides the main view?

How do i revert my hotmail account back to the classic view?

    Well, you USED to be able to continue to choose to use the Classic Hotmail version when Windows Live came out because I had been doing that for a long time now.... However, today I received a notification that the classic version has been upgraded...meaning the Classic version is no longer available!! I am very upset about the change as this new look is quite horrendous. I even sent them Feedback on my disappointment. I encourage you to do so as well. I've now signed up to Gmail and am looking to convert over to them as a primary e-mail source. I've been using hotmail for at least 10 years now and for the first time ever I am leaving for greener pastures!

I can't figure this out either! What a pain in the a$$! I can tell you it is computer specific - my personal computer at home has the horrible new hotmail view when I log on, but when I log on from work, it still has the original view. I also noticed the it changed my view of yahoo too and I can't get it to change back even after I correct my home page. Wouldn't it be great if computer companies actually showed you how to fix things as quickly as they F' them up.

I don't know if this may help or just add to the confusion but I am unable to access my Hotmail.co.uk account since MSN's small change to their email accounts. I only have this problem on my Opera browser and have no problems while accessing via IE. EDIT: I just downloaded Opera 9.62 and I can access Hotmail with no trouble. I didn't know there was an update available as I hadn't been alerted to it. Hope you guys get your problems sorted soon but the latest version of Opera IS compatable with the new look Hotmail.

I don't know, I am trying to change mine back as well. Now it won't even display correctly in my preferred browser like the Light version does.
