Why cant i install Windows Live Messenger 2011?

Well first off, close all programs before trying to install it. Sometimes when you close programs, their process is still running. So right click the task bar(right underneath) and click task manager. Then go to the processes tab and see if one of the programs u tried closing is still open. You might also want to close windows live if you want the installation window to stop popping up.

if you have xp you can get the version for xp go on the one for windows 7 and then click on get for windows xp somthing like that
