Why am I showing as offline to an MSN contact I haven't blocked?

this might sound really stupid, but have you tried checking to see if your status (next to your name on the windows live contact window) is set to online.

your status is offline. or that your msn is not working properly. try uninstalling msn and downloading the program again. hope this helps!
