How do you get fancy MSN letters?

If i put or :) in msn then send it it just come up as the letters not the emoticons how do i get it to showup?

    Have you actually got the Hello emotion? Check by clicking on the smiley emotion and click See All Emotions (or something similar to that) and check. If you can't see it, get someone to send it to you. Right click it and click Add. Hope this helped :]]

i think you probably have to download a better version, t did this to someon i know then they downloaded the newer version and i worked :D
