Does anyone know how to get webcam only on MSN?

Ok, so I downloaded the most recent version of msn, but now if I want to go on webcam, it automatically goes onto a video call. I don't want it to, and have tried changing my ...show more

the latest version only allows you to "video confrence" which means mics and cams only yahoo messenger however does support webcam only :)

There should be way of cancelling the automatic loading of the MSN video call program set-up, as I am not that knowledgeable about webcam set-up, I would suggest it may a good idea to have a word with the computer technician at your school about the issue and should be able to give you far better advice and help you solve it. Or have a word with a good local computer shop. Sorry cannot be more helpful.

I am afraid it is no longer possible. That version of MSN is now unusable, it is video call only or no MSN! Sorry for the bad news... :(

I do believe that you have to change the settings in the MSN properties to stop the web cam loading to video chat
