Why does my MSN log out automatically?

When i log on my compuetr, the msn sign in window comes up automatically. how can i stop it?

    Let's take this to the next level. Here's the way to disable some programs from starting up. You see, some programs may not necessarily pop up upon logging in to Windows. However, they do run in the background and may eat up your resources. Thus, your computer runs slower than usual. 1. Click on Start and then Run. 2. On the Run box, type in msconfig. 3. Press Enter. 4. On the Startup tab, uncheck programs that you don't need. 5. Restart the computer. For MSN Messenger, for example, uncheck. msmsgs. YahooMessenger for Yahoo IM. ItunesHelper for I-tunes. Etcetera...Etcetera... When in doubt, do a Yahoo search FIRST on the item you'll be unchecking.

I think its broken.

I will give you 100% solution . . . . .it is very easy just follow me: click on START. >RUN >type MSCONFIG >select STARTUP MENU >then uncheck only msn msgr and you can also uncheck undesired startup software. Thats all ! Bst of lck!

You click your name, then scroll down to Options. A box should pop up, click the Sign In tab. Theres one at the top 'Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log in to Windows', untick the box next to it. Log in and out of your PC/Laptop account and thats how it worked for me (Y)

Go to Tools> Options> General (on the left pane) and uncheck "Automatically Run Windows Live Messenger"

go to tools - options at the top, in the first tab if i can remember correctly, u have the option to stop msn coming up when window starts up.. good luck
