How to stop my MSN sending those annoying adverts?

How do i stop it sending them?

  • My msn keeps signing me in msn and sending links to my contacts. How do i stop it doing it?

  • Answer:

It's a trojan. Uninstalling and Re-installing won't remove the problem at all. The Trojan writes itself to a registry key, which is not remove during uninstallation and stays there until the next copy of msn is installed. How do i remove? First try the Windows Malicous Tool. START -> run -> Type mrt If that shows clean, download a free trial of a virus scanner/spyware remover. I've just uploaded the full version of AVG 8.0 for you, runa full scan then remove the trojan once it's detected. I agree with the worm Download this http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and this should help you out. You better warn your friends not to click any links that they think 'you' sent them.
